The Coterie app design
The Coterie is a 1-stop-shop to manage investments in funds and private equity, borrow against your private equity, and borrow to invest. It aspires to provide holistic financial services for Accredited Investors and Qualified Purchasers.
I was the founding designer at the Coterie and the third person to be brought on board, after 2 co-founders. I started by designing a vision for a board deck. Once the company secured funding, I collaborated with the co-founders to plan our first set of product offerings and create designs. Then, I worked with our engineers to execute the first version of the app. I oversaw art direction by collaborating with Pentagram on brand vision and Metalab on our app redesign. I also designed the physical card that would go with the Coterie Checking account. Here are a few shots of my work
