I have spent the last 5 years taking on freelance work for startups. I have helped establish design systems, collaborated on product strategy, and designed many products from scratch. Here is a sampling of few freelance projects over the years.

Salt Labs

Salt is the first ever rewards & loyalty program that rewards work. Employers can sign up to offer this program to their employees and Salt handles the rest. Employers who subscribed to Salt saw a 62% increase in employee retention. I redesigned the MVP to mature the look and feel, expanded the rewards program to item and experience based rewards, designed API connection experience to track hours seamlessly across multiple employees, and created a profile setup for employees so they can share their accomplishments. As of 2024, Salt was acquired by Chime.

Shift Smart

Shift Smart is a worker-first platform that specializes in bridging part time and shift-based workers with nearby demand. The team was seeing a 50% drop in first-time shifts because workers lacked information and incentive to show up. I was brought on to create a personalized and delightful onboarding experience while creating a cohesive design language and brand perspective. I guided the team through a branding exercise, pulling from open source images and illustrations so they could scale. I handed off an onboarding flow that helped users understand what role they are signing up for, what shifts are right for them, what others have to say about working at those shifts, and how to prepare for their first day.

Wagr

I designed the the Wagr app, which allows friends to bet on their favorite sports teams. I created the core betting experience and social feed where users can add users as friends and comment on their bets. In 2023, Wagr was acquired by Yahoo!

Fort Robotics

I partnered with the Product team at Fort to establish practices that strengthen Product and Design collaboration and created a vision for a platform that helps teams set up and manage multiple devices across all their warehouses.
